The size is true to size. They're pretty warm for winter wear, with a bit of fleece inside. As for the craftsmanship of the brand in recent years, well, it's been pretty consistent. The new shoes do make a bit of noise when the soles rub against the floor, but they look great. I bought them mainly for their looks—they have a smoky gray with a hint of purple, and they just look awesome.
