To be honest, the Maxfly isn't as hard to handle as some people online claim. I run the 100m in 12.03 seconds, and I bought it when I was running around 12.73. I only wear it for intense training sessions and races. Personally, I find the air cushion and carbon plate in this shoe to be really powerful, definitely a performance booster. However, the downsides are that it doesn't last very long and the breathability is just average. The pbex plate underneath is prone to bending, and the carbon plate doesn't last long either, so it can break easily. When I bought this shoe, I was drawn to Nike's performance features. In practice, it's quite good—it provides good propulsion and rebound. Since I'm a power-type runner, the air cushion feels very responsive. I'm also quite satisfied with the design of this shoe. The white parts of the upper can be customized with your favorite colors. The flywire design on the surface makes it easy to clean. The black baseplate is also wider, which is very friendly for curve runners. It's also best to size down by half a size when buying, otherwise, it might slip off your heel.
